Mounting TigIR ─ directly on the target optics

Mounting TigIR ─ directly on the target optics

9/24/2023

From now on we can offer all owners of a TigIR, PumIR or a TILO a mounting solution, even when used directly on an optic, in order to repeatedly use the extremely high precision of the attachment.

Thanks to its design principles, the assembly solution eliminates the system-related inaccuracy of all one-piece adapters, which have so far been sold primarily as "Rusan adapters", but also under many other names and always have one thing in common: the one-piece design and therefore inaccuracy in the case of placement and Reinstall the adapter and the connected attachment. Claims to the contrary have no physical basis; the effects of tensioning the optics-side part of the adapter ring are too great

Our assembly solution from “Precise Jagen” basically consists of two parts: a so-called clamping sleeve, which is installed on the optics and remains there, and an adapter ring, which is installed on the attachment and remains there. Both parts are made of a special seawater and chemical-resistant aluminum alloy, are hard anodized and are manufactured entirely in Germany on special machines with the finest tolerances.

Clamping sleeves are currently available for the following outer diameters: 30mm, 30mm Zeiss rail (also Leica), 34mm, 34mm Blaser, 48mm, 50mm, 51mm, 54mm, 56mm, 57mm, 58mm, 59mm, 62mm, 63.5mm, 64.5mm, 65mm and 67mm.

Please note that, as usual, the values given refer to the outer diameter of the lens optics and only have a tolerance of +/- 0.2mm in this regard, which is why we ask you to measure your optics very carefully.

The mounting solution is particularly suitable for strong forward leans, but it is important to note that the attachment must have enough space.

By the way: the mounting solution can also be used for attachments from other manufacturers!
