All TigIR-6Z+ delivered from 2023 have the latest firmware version 0.0.10Z. For users, this is identical to 0.0.09Z.
The TigIR also now has outline mode.
This is not a filter, but independent of it and therefore cannot be selected/deselected in the menu, as it is a fundamentally different representation. It is switched on or off outside the menu by long pressing button 3 (only works if no shutter flag is visible!).
When the outline mode is activated, if the thermal contrast is sufficiently strong, a different colored line is drawn around significant thermal sources, thereby highlighting them. If selected, the mode is active in all filters.
It is quite normal for colored borders to disappear when switching to higher digital zoom levels in order to enable undisturbed observation. Please note that the line thickness is up to 7 pixels and a target can therefore appear larger than it actually is.
New devices are delivered with these functions as standard; existing customers can have a paid upgrade to outline mode carried out.
